FAQ
Questions? We’ve Got Answers.
How much does it cost to paint my home?
It depends on the size of the space, the surfaces, how much prep is needed and the paint you choose. That’s why we give you a free, written estimate after seeing the space. You’ll know the full price before any work begins, and that’s the price you pay.
You’re new online. Are you a new company?
No. We’ve been painting homes across Northern Virginia for more than 10 years. Our work has always come from referrals and repeat customers, so we never needed a website. We’re online now to make it easier for more homeowners to find us.
Why are painting quotes so different from each other?
Mostly prep and scope. One quote may include patching, caulking, two coats, ceilings, trim and doors, and another may quietly leave them out. Our written estimate spells out what’s included, so you can compare apples to apples.
Will there be surprise charges at the end?
No. The price in your written estimate is the price you pay. If we uncover something nobody could see at the estimate, like soft or damaged wood, we show you and get your OK in writing before doing anything extra.
Will my house be a mess?
No. We cover floors, wrap or move furniture, and clean up at the end of every day. Just set aside small valuables and breakables, and we’ll handle the rest.
How long will my project take?
Most rooms take a day or two. Larger or exterior projects take longer, depending on size and weather. You’ll get a timeline with your estimate, so you can plan around it.
I live in Old Town. Do I need approval to paint?
The City of Alexandria says its Board of Architectural Review doesn’t review paint color in the historic districts. Painting brick or masonry that has never been painted does need approval first. We’ll flag it before we quote.
Which areas do you serve?
Homes throughout Fairfax County, Loudoun County and Arlington County, including Alexandria, Fairfax, Arlington, Reston, Ashburn, Leesburg and nearby communities.
When can I reach you?
A real person answers 7 days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Sunday. Call (571) 368-5467 or send the form.
